The New Chevrolet Camaro
No matter which engine you choose, the Camaro is a fast car. Even the standard model's turbo-four offers brisk acceleration and the power to spark joy on highway travels.
Available trims
There are eight different models of the new Chevrolet Camaro: 1LS, 1LT, 2LT, 2SS, 3LT, LT1, 1SS and ZL1. All but the base 1LS trim are offered as convertibles with power-folding soft tops.
Performance
The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. However, selecting the optional engine with either 335 horsepower from the V6, 455 horsepower from a V8 and 650 horsepower from the supercharged V8 enables some incredibly powerful acceleration and high speeds on the track.
Gas Mileage
The fuel efficiency statistics for this Chevy are fairly good for a sports car. It achieves 19 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway when equipped with the base engine. If you choose the V6, your fuel economy will drop to 16 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. The V8 machines are the least efficient in fuel consumption, with ratings of 16 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway for the first V8, but you'll make up for that in the incredible performance they offer.
Design
The coupe and convertible versions of the new Chevrolet Camaro focus on the pure pleasure of driving. Put their restricted vision to the outside and their crowded back seats out of your mind. Instead, take advantage of their nimble handling, engaging stick-shift transmission and incredibly smooth ride.
The car is designed to merge form, high-powered function and flair flawlessly, and it has an aerodynamic exterior and an interior that is polished and centered on the driver, thanks to front seats that are comfortable and supportive.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Each Chevrolet Camaro comes standard with an intuitive touchscreen capable of running Chevy's Infotainment software. Plus, the larger 8.0-inch touchscreen does a better job filling the space and gives you a clearer view of your options.
Additionally, the combination of controls and well-arranged menus is appreciated. The Camaro comes equipped with everything as standard, including user-friendly controls, prompt feedback, a Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless versions of Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, which allow you to completely avoid the hassle of cables to connect your phone.
